Exora Summer Camp
Tue 12th - Tue 26th Aug 2025
It takes a village...
On 17th August 2024 we had our Exora wedding with so many close friends and family. It was such a magical and joyful week that we decided to host a 2 week Summer Camp at the same time each year.
What Will Happen?
The event will be co-created and co-funded.
We will ask everyone to contribute financially what they can afford with an understanding that if you pay a bit less you will make an effort to support the event in other ways so that it is fair for everyone.
2 months before the event we will look at who has signed up and what funds are available. We will then arrange a series of calls to begin the co-creation.

Activities will be up to us. We will co-design and co-facilitate a programme around our collective needs and interests. We can do art, build sculptures, play sports and games, go for long walks, run workshops, sit around a fire every night, put on a show, learn about growing food, go to the nearby beaches and forests, and so on. Or just take a day or two to relax, rest and sleep. We are limited only by our own imaginations.

Our hope is also that we can afford a chef to cook some of the meals and also someone to take care of the kids and lead the kids programme, with parents and older kids helping out as well.
What about the kids?
Summer Camp is open to everyone; singles and couples, as well as families and their kids. Dogs are welcome too. Cats will need to be approved by Zuko. We really want to make summer camp fun for the kids too, not just the adults.
There is also the option of renting a private airbnb nearby and driving in each day. We are flexible and just want to get the best people we know in the same place for 2 weeks in the summer.
Is Summer Camp Just for Exora Guests?
No. We will start by inviting guests from our Exora wedding but their friends, and friends of friends are welcome too. We will see who applies and try to co-create a gathering that is accessible and affordable for everyone.

We think a group of around 20-40 people (kids included) would be great size to start with.
